Located in Karachi, the Qazi Residence is a project that explores the interplay of mass and void through a modernist architectural language. Defined by bold geometric volumes and layered frames, the house uses concrete, glass, and wood-textured louvers to mediate privacy and light. The proximity to the sea informed the material palette and ventilation strategy, with large glazed openings placed to maximize airflow while ensuring thermal comfort. The result is a contemporary coastal home that balances spatial openness with climatic responsiveness.
