Located within PHA Islamabad, this residence reimagines an incomplete grey structure into a refined and livable home. The design is anchored by a central atrium, drawing daylight deep into the core and connecting all levels through a spatial void of openness and light. Cascading planters and skylights enhance this sense of continuity, softening the rigid concrete shell with greenery. A restrained palette of terracotta tiles, textured plaster, and dark wood defines the material identity of the house, bringing warmth and tactility. The addition of an organic screen system filters air and light, offering both privacy and a shifting play of shadows across the interiors. The result is a balanced transformation where structural solidity and crafted intimacy converge to create a contextual and enduring residence.
