Nestled in the foothills of the Margalla Hills, the Nouman Residence reinterprets the 10-marla urban plot through a rigorously geometric yet contextually aware architectural language. The design balances introversion with permeability - layering spatial privacy with framed access to light, ventilation, and filtered views of the surrounding landscape. A prominent masonry screen anchors the facade, acting as both a shading device and a tactile expression of materiality, while allowing filtered glimpses into the layered interiors. The juxtaposition of exposed brick, fair-faced concrete, and deep recesses creates a rhythmic elevation that resists monotony. Crafted for a young family, the project emphasizes spatial clarity, passive climate control, and material honesty - qualities that resonate with the site's natural backdrop.
