The design for New Islamabad Convention, Exhibition & Expo Center competition is conceived as a civic assembly space organized around a 4,000-seat auditorium and supporting exhibition and conference facilities. The project investigates how large-scale public gathering can be structured through geometric clarity, sectional continuity, and integrated circulation systems. A hexagonal geometric framework establishes optimal sightlines and acoustic performance while informing structural organization and spatial hierarchy. Circulation is embedded within the sectional profile, aligning public movement, controlled access, and emergency egress within a coherent internal order. The building is unified by a spanning roof canopy composed of calibrated radial fins, consolidating structure, enclosure, and environmental modulation into a single architectural system. The resulting form emerges from performance, capacity, and spatial logic rather than applied expression.
