Located in Peshawar, this residence is designed on an unusually narrow plot that dictated both the form and the spatial organization of the house. The linear proportions of the site guided a compact yet expressive layout, where volumes are carefully staggered to optimize light, ventilation, and privacy. The architecture balances modern minimalism with the warmth of brick, using clean horizontal masses and deliberate voids that soften the density of the form. A central courtyard and generous openings connect the interiors with landscaped pockets, creating a sense of openness within the constraints of the plot. Rooted in the materiality of brick yet articulated in a contemporary language, the residence reflects contextual modernity while offering a serene private retreat in the urban fabric of Peshawar.
